1.1 | Respect other members
Treat everyone with respect. Toxicity, threats, harassment, targeted mockery, and deliberately provoking arguments are not allowed. Do not bring grudges or drama from other games or communities into Bungee Gum.
The rules for playing fairly, respecting others, and keeping the community enjoyable.
These guidelines combine the community rules and staff announcements, including content creator requirements.
Treat everyone with respect. Toxicity, threats, harassment, targeted mockery, and deliberately provoking arguments are not allowed. Do not bring grudges or drama from other games or communities into Bungee Gum.
Do not organize, encourage, or participate in targeted harassment of an individual or group. This includes repeatedly mocking someone over their gameplay, death, appearance, beliefs, or other personal traits. Witch-hunting bans issued from July 20, 2026 onward cannot be appealed; earlier bans remain appealable.
Discriminatory statements, slurs, and hateful media are prohibited, including content targeting race, gender, or sexual orientation. This includes the R-slur.
Sexual harassment, unwanted suggestive comments, NSFW content, suggestive clothing or actions, and erotic roleplay are prohibited, both in and out of lore. Do not create or distribute graphic or NSFW edits of game NPCs, even outside the game Discord. These violations can result in removal or a ban.
Do not make jokes or discuss sensitive topics in ways that cause discomfort or conflict. Do not spread unverified rumors, excessive doom-posting, or uninformed claims about another player’s lore. This also applies in Bungee Gum faction servers. Send constructive lore feedback privately to Head Lore.
Stop when instructed by staff. Do not disregard directions or argue to continue the behavior. Keep staff cases and ongoing ban discussions out of general chat; raise concerns through a ticket in the support server.
Keep conversation and commands in their designated channels. Avoid disruptive microphone noise in voice chat. Do not flood chat with repeated content, oversized messages, or five or more consecutive messages in quick succession. The posted spam rule excludes bot-spam and memes channels; other conduct rules still apply. AI-generated spam is also prohibited.
Do not advertise outside communities or recruit from this community without permission. Ordinary discussion about other games is allowed.
Do not share private information without consent, blackmail, fabricate screenshots, dox, or swat others. Malicious activity can result in community removal and a Discord ban.
Do not use scripts, third-party tools, glitches, or bugs to gain an advantage. Bug abuse can lead to a permanent ban. Report unusual stats, knowingly exceeding a cap without the proper BP, and mistakes made while staff are setting your character. Keeping an unreported advantage can lead to removal or an unappealable punishment.
Do not use alternate Roblox or Discord accounts to bypass a ban. Account sharing is prohibited. You are responsible for activity performed on your account.
Scamming or attempted scamming can result in removal and a Discord ban. Selling or trading game items or jenni for USD is prohibited and results in a permanent game blacklist for both parties.
Stealing or copying game assets results in a permanent ban and community blacklist. Do not abuse a staff role or other position of power for an unfair benefit to yourself or others.
Do not use out-of-lore (OOL) information to gain an in-lore advantage. This includes knowledge from a previous character’s life, checking the server list during a PD, and using Discord ranks to identify a character’s hidden role or affiliation.
Do not leak another player’s lore, even if you do not personally use it. Do not use Vencord or similar access to discover or share information from hidden channels, custom servers, or tickets; the announced penalty is a permanent ban. A visible name tag does not justify identifying someone whose identity is concealed by a mask, cloak, or other appropriate attire. Players must also dress appropriately to conceal their identity.
Do not post or distribute clips of hidden deaths, robberies, kidnappings, or other incidents that others should not see. The latest announcement states a permanent-ban penalty and makes an exception for incidents being streamed on Twitch. Sharing a clip outside the community server does not make it acceptable.
Do not break immersion, randomly attack without an in-lore reason, grief, or perform sudden out-of-character actions (“stimming”), including during PDs and in lore chat. Joke reactions to serious Discord lore messages are also punishable.
Do not force actions or outcomes on other players, claim powers or abilities you do not possess, ignore roleplay rules, or intentionally exploit gaps in rules to gain an advantage or avoid consequences.
Do not seek another Lore Team member’s approval after a request has been denied. Lore oversight belongs to the Lore Team; avoid pocketwatching other players or spreading uninformed concern about their lore.
Characters may not date or engage in romantic scenarios, sexually descriptive actions, or erotic roleplay.
Do not dismiss a strong ability as weak to mislead others or gatekeep information. If you do not want to share information, say nothing instead.
Do not rob or grip knocked players in training or sparring areas, especially after presenting the fight as a friendly 1v1. Violations can result in removal or other punishment.
Flaunting valuable items or unexpectedly announcing that you have major valuables can provide an in-lore incentive for robbery.
PDs have limited backup calls. During world events or private PDs, the host may allow a call opportunity. Calling friends or a faction uses the shared opportunity for everyone; for example, if faction members arrive, another player may no longer be able to call IPA.
Violations can result in warnings, mutes, temporary bans, permanent bans, removal, or blacklisting, depending on the rule and severity. Serious violations receive the harshest penalties. Follow Discord’s Terms of Service as well as these community rules.
After three minor offenses, the next offense may be treated as moderate or major on a case-by-case basis.
Permanent bans may generally be appealed after two weeks; temporary bans after three days. These waiting periods do not override unappealable punishments, including witch-hunting bans issued from July 20, 2026 onward. Use the support server for case concerns.
